We actually found here an ideal, recently refurbished, and superb three star alternative to Rome four and five star expensive hotels! One look at the lovingly furnished and richly equipped brand new superior tourist class rooms will decide the most distinctive travellers to book at the GAMBRINUS. Despite of its intimate size (58 rooms only), the hotel displays four kind of rooms. Should you choose a Double Deluxe Capri, Bella Vienna, Impero, or Ducale (roughly distinguished by the colour of the fabrics, rather than by the comfort which is fairly high everywhere), all those air conditioned guest rooms have a lovely bathroom, hair dryer, IDD telephone, satellite & pay TV, minibar, iron board, and private safe deposit. Which make the GAMBRINUS hotel looking like much more four rather than three star, indeed! Direct fax and internet service is available, making businessmen life easier. Note that there is a disable room on the first floor, with direct lift access from hall entrance. Many services are provided. The hotel has a cozy and friendly bar, opened 24 hours. Limousine and minibus are available by simple request. Cars can be safely parked near the hotel, at a fee: US$ 11. Despite of such a situation, comfort
and high level of service, this fine hotel remains actually affordable.
